Giovanni Vecchio is one of the most famous gardeners of eastern Sicily, born in Catania, since he was a child he was a great lover of plants and flowers; so it was that when he grew up he became an agrotechnical expert for the whole Catania hinterland.
Agricultural expert, he grew up with a family of flower growers who in the 60s established themselves for the cultivation of carnations and chrysanthemums.
In 1999 he moved to Austria and worked as a specialist gardening technician for a large foreign company, contributing brilliantly to knowledge in the field of gardening.
In his life, he has repeatedly stated how difficulties have never been lacking, but nevertheless he never misses the opportunity to underline how even the joys have shown themselves with great satisfaction after a lot of commitment and hard work lasted for over 30 years: of the best satisfactions he has had in life, is that of being able to give life to the abandoned spaces, building with passion and dedication many gardens considered useless but precious for the common good.

My activity as a technician began in the mid-80s at an important nursery company. In the 2000s I started to be a technician in Austria and then continue as a freelancer until today.
